D:
So your book has basic principles and here's where you make it your own and it
gives people instructions on how to make their own diet and something they can
live with.
I
would say the book is intentionally small. It's not 300 pages long because most
people in America
today if they see a 300 page book, they're not going to read it. So I
intentionally did a small book hoping it would give people confidence that they
could read thirty to sixty pages of something and get the general gist of it
and make it work. And then I go into what I keep in my pantry, my refrigerator,
my freezer, what kind of restaurants I go to, what I order in restaurants.
Recipe-free breakfast, lunches, dinners and snacks so people realize they don't
have to cook.
All
you have to understand is principles. I hardly ever cook yet this has been able
to happen. I buy a whole lot of stuff. I might be buying a bean salad that came
from somewhere else but I didn't make it. Most of the foods that I eat are made
by somebody else.
So
that's all part of it not being perfect. If you need a perfect diet, you're
going to have to cook. Your food is going to have to control a whole lot of
your life. I love food and obviously I love nutrition but there's a whole lot
of other stuff I want to do with my time.
My
book is designed for busy people who want to get the
gritty of the principles and figure out the basics of that so they can fit it
into their life regardless of where they live.
